Benefits of Membership

The NZ Association of Metal Recyclers (AMR) is the country’s national metal recycling industry association.  Our members range from sole traders to multi-national companies and everything in between.

Membership has many benefits:

  • An annual AGM and Convention with topics that are relevant and specific to the metal recycling industry
  • A bi-monthly members-only magazine, Metal Matters
  • Access to preferred suppliers - using the buying power of our members for fuel, tyres, printing & copying and gases  - we are consistently identifying new areas where we can negotiate preferred supplier arrangements.  Many members report that the discounts they have received through preferred suppliers have more than paid for their annual membership fee
  • Members-only resources including a monthly  health & safety message delivered to your inbox, a growing library of information to help you with yard management, staff training, business management and trade/export.
  • A collective voice working with local and central government on issues affecting the industry

All members agree to adhere to the AMR Code of Conduct.
